NCAC Championships: Night 2 Recap - Denison Men Grow Lead, Kenyon Women Sweep Swim Events (2026)

The 2026 NCAC Swimming and Diving Championships are underway, and the second day of competition has already seen some impressive performances. The Denison men's team extended their lead, while the Kenyon women dominated the pool, sweeping all four swimming events. Here's a recap of the action from Day 2.

Men's Recap

The Denison men's team showcased their strength by winning three out of four events in their home pool. Sophomore George Goins took the top spot in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:26.22, which is just a fraction slower than his personal best of 4:23.37 from last year's NCAA Division III 'B' final. The 200 IM was a highlight for the program as Jack Hill led a 1-2-3 finish, touching the wall in 1:47.02, followed by Devin Testin (1:48.18) and Luke Swiggett (1:48.57). John Carroll University's freshman Jacob Florio, new to the NCAC this season, set a new program record with a time of 1:48.69, finishing in 4th place.

The final individual event of the night was won by Kenyon's Djordje Dragojlovic, who touched the wall in 19.96 in the 50 free. Dragojlovic's time is currently the best in Division III this season, and he finished 3rd in the event at the 2025 NCAAs. Despite Dragojlovic's win, Denison had a strong showing with Nick Hensel (2nd, 20.03), Cam Blevins-Mohr (3rd, 20.20), and Samuel Hibbert (4th, 20.28). The Denison men capped off the evening with a victory in the 400 medley relay, defending their title from the previous year with a time of 3:12.79. They were just half a second away from the NCAC record of 3:12.17, set by their relay team last year. This year's relay team consisted of Ben Bevill, Liam Nelson, Samuel Hibbert, and Jack Hill.
